This update of the cardiovascular disease profiles adds another page in the diabetes narrative report. This page contains analysis on achievement of the care process targets, taken from the most recent National Diabetes Audit (NDA) publication. We have also added the related indicator data to the fingertips profile tool.
The cardiovascular disease profiles provide an overview of data on cardiovascular and cardiovascular related conditions of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease. They are intended to help commissioners and health professionals assess the impact of cardiovascular disease (CVD) on their local population, make decisions about services and improve outcomes for patients.
These profiles are one of a range of data and analysis resources produced by PHE’s National Cardiovascular Intelligence Network (NCVIN).
